Brussels (dpa) - Greece and its European creditors will intensify talks in the coming days to resolve outstanding issues that could prevent the country from receiving its next bailout payment, Dutch Finance Minister and Eurogroup head Jeroen Dijsselbloem said Monday.

Creditors want Greece to implement sweeping reforms including to its labour market and tax and pension systems before it can get the next tranche of a 86-billion-euro (92.3-billion-dollar) EU loan to meet debt payments due in July.

Dijsselbloem said after a meeting of his eurozone counterparts in Brussels that he hoped an agreement on reforms could be reached by the next meeting of the Eurogroup scheduled for April 7.

"We‘ve agreed that talks will continue intensified in the coming days here in Brussels ... to try and clear those last big issues out of the way and come to a full policy package agreement," Dijsselbloem said.

He noted that once the reform package is finalized, eurozone finance ministers will still have to come to a political agreement on Greece‘s fiscal trajectory, future primary surplus and debt.

Greece has been bailed out three times since 2010. The latest bailout deal, worth 86 billion euros in total, was agreed in July 2015. So far 31.7 billion euros have been disbursed.
