Paris (dpa) - Reacting to the Champs-Elysees attack, far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said that outgoing Socialist President Francois Hollande and his right-wing predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy "have done everything to lose" the fight against terrorism.

The National Front leader called on "French people, no matter what their opinions, their beliefs or their origins, to unite ... in the determination not to get used to this."

She repeats her calls for all foreigners under security surveillance for suspected militant links to be either expelled or imprisoned.
