Tehran (dpa) - Iran has reacted to US criticism of the country as "tired rhetoric" and said President Donald Trump‘s policies show that he wants to undermine the nuclear deal.

Trump‘s comments "amount to desperate attempts to undermine a solid multilateral agreement," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Twitter Friday.

"Rather than repeating tired rhetoric, (the) US must bring itself into full compliance -just like Iran," he said.
