Berlin (dpa) - Joerg Meuthen, the co-leader of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD), says that "xenophobia and racist positions will not be accepted - we also simply don‘t have any."

Meuthen was speaking during a debate shown on public broadcaster ZDF after his party‘s projected win of 13.2 per cent of the vote, which will grant the party as many as 98 seats in parliament.
