London (dpa) - Reigning Wimbledon champion Serena Williams returned to the centre court on Friday to go through to the Olympics singles finals, winning a convincing 6-1, 6-2 over Belarusian Victoria Azarenka.

Williams needed just 26 minutes in the first set and 37 in the second to beat the top seeded Azarenka and set up an encounter with Maria Sharapova in the final. dpa hl mis
