EXTRA: Niinisto leads as polls close in Finland presidential vote

Helsinki (dpa) - Former finance minister Sauli Niinisto of the
conservative National Coalition Party took an early lead in the
runoff of Finland‘s presidential vote on Sunday, initial tallies
showed.
Niinisto was on 65.4 per cent, while the Green Party‘s Pekka Haavisto was on 34.6 per cent.
The two candidates were vying to succeed Tarja Halonen, who was not allowed to run for a third six-year term.
