Madrid (dpa) - European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said Tuesday that Spain was making "enormous progress" in coping with its economic crisis.

Positive signs included an improvement in exports, the virtual disappearance of the current account deficit, an increase in competitiveness and results from structural and financial reforms, Draghi said after addressing the Spanish parliament in a closed-door session. dpa sit jln
